Why Choose Teresco?

Products of St Teresa’s College of Education are the pride of anyone who is privileged to work with them. The success of the college can be attributed to the sacrifices made by the founding fathers and contributions of other stakeholders. The college is still making strides to achieve greater laurels.

Self Development

Our mission is to train competent, efficient and dedicated female teachers who will teach and also serve as role models in society. We have a serene environment for effective teaching and learning with hardworking and dedicated staff who are always ready to attend to the needs of our students.

Spirituality

St Teresa’s College of Education, as a Catholic College of Education, is run purely on Catholic Principles, Doctrines as well as Tradition.

By a ‘Principles’, we mean a set of rules (morals) or strong beliefs that influences the actions of the Catholic Church.

By ‘Doctrines’, we mean the Teachings of the Church based on her magisterium (the teaching office of the church). And by Tradition we mean a set of beliefs, customs on way of doing things that existed for a long time or handled over to the church from generation to generation.  The religious life of the College is regulated by a nine member Liturgical Committee headed by the College Chaplain.

Alumni

The college management and (TEROSA) Alumni are committed and ready to collaborate in making the college a center of excellence.

The St.Teresa’s college of Education Alumni Association is excited to announce the arrival of Teresco Alumni Connect. This is a new community building platform for St. Teresa’s alumni. It is the only place online where you can find, and connect with, approximately 1500 St.Teresa’s alumni. All alumni are automatically enrolled!

St.Teresa’s college of Education was established by Bishop Koning in 1961 for the public benefit and it is recognized globally. Throughout our great history, St. Teresa’s has offered access to a wide range of academic opportunities. As a world leader in higher education, the College has pioneered change in the sector.
