Biography

Eunice has studied in University of Cape Coast where she obtained Master of Philosophy Degree (M.Phil) in Special Education, Bachelor of Education Degree (B.ED) in Special Education at University of Education – Winneba. She has been in the teaching service for twenty-two (22) years now and had taught in Tertiary, Secondary and Basic levels including a Special School (School for the Blind Akropong). Eunice has also served as a Resource Teacher in the Akropong District Educational Office in the year 2006 to 2007.

In St. Teresa’s College of Education, Eunice teaches education courses in the various units within the Department of Education studies. She is a member of the Academic Board, (2018/2019), and St. Ann Hall Warden.

Her services are not limited to St. Teresa’s College alone but have extensions to the College’s Affiliate University. She is the Coordinator for College of Distance Education (CoDE) – University of Cape Coast at Hohoe Center from 2016 to date. She teaches education courses at the center as a course tutor as well.

Her research interest is; Impact of Inclusive Education on Children with Special Educational Needs in Ghana.

Eunice is of the view that, children learn better and achieve academic excellence when differences are not barriers to their education.
